Four honest outcomes, and one thing solar will not do.
Lower imported units
You buy fewer kWh at retail price. This is the main saving.
Less price exposure
A chunk of your consumption becomes fixed for 25 years.
Evening self-supply
With a battery you can run the evening peak from your own roof.
Cheaper EV miles
Charging from surplus generation is far cheaper than public rapid charging.
And what it won't do: a domestic array will not eliminate your electricity bill, and in a British winter it will contribute relatively little. Anyone promising otherwise is overselling. We size for a realistic annual result, not a sunny-day headline.

Three Solis package examples
These solar-only prices match our published packages. Roof layout, scaffolding, roof covering and electrical work can affect the final quote after we review your details and complete the design.
Small Home
8 panels · 3.84 kWp
from £7,350
Solis solar-only package with 480 W AIKO panels and standard installation.
A compact option for a smaller suitable roof or lower electricity use.
Add a 10 kWh Solis battery to the 12-panel example for £1,700, making the combined package from £9,900. We confirm suitable storage during the design review.
Indicative only. These figures use simplified planning assumptions (900 kWh/kWp per year, 480W panels, 26p/kWh import, 8p/kWh export) and are not a quotation, a performance guarantee or financial advice. Guide price for the package shown. Roof layout, the number of roof faces and panel arrays, and the scaffolding required can affect the final price. We review these during the full design and confirm the price in your written quote. Further checks may be needed for some properties.
